Ahh . . . another excellent article, Helen. I always know when reading one of your articles that I'll enjoy it. This is no different.

I just turned 70, which is still quite a shock since I never dreamed I'd live this long. And there is even a chance I could live to be 90 or more! When I was growing up people died "natural" deaths around the ages of 60 and 70; 80 was rare.

I find the best thing about aging is that my confidence has increased, I'm a tiny bit more willing to take risks, and I rarely let others' opinions stop me anymore.

And you, dear lady, are one of my favorite role models!
